This way, you will feel like a person who should respond, rather than someone who is forced to. 

Let others know that you are trying to create a more focused routine. That way you are more likely to be left alone to focus.

Unless there’s a very urgent matter at hand, they’ll give you space. 

Leaders should take up the role of facilitators and avoid dominating the discussions.

During meetings, it’s very important to get input from everybody, not only from those eager to contribute but even from those who are shyer and less likely to speak up.
