Abundance is not about providing everyone on this planet with a life of luxury—rather it's about providing all with a life of possibility.

We live in turbulent times. When we glance at the headlines, it is enough to put anybody on edge. However, a quick look at history shows that progress continues through the good and the bad times. Global living standards will continue to improve regardless of the horrors in the headlines. For example, the 20th century saw advancement and tragedy. The 1918 influenza epidemic killed fifty million people, and World War II killed another sixty million. Yet, this period also saw infant mortality decrease by 90 per cent and maternal mortality decrease by 99 per cent.

The future is brighter than the media portrays

Underlying influences tend to push us towards a pessimistic view of the future. <ul><li>The amygdala is always looking for threats in our environment. When triggered, it starts the fight or flight response. But modern society threats are probabilistic. For example, the economy could crash, or there could be a terrorist attack.</li><li>Information we receive. Media outlets know that good news doesn’t sell as well as threatening news, so we are constantly bombarded with fearful images and possible situations that feed the amygdala and prevent us from seeing the future objectively.</li></ul>

Why we have an overly pessimistic view of the future

The world consists of complex systems where changes in one area can impact another area. For example, population changes in one species affect living and survival conditions for others.  While some systems may seem to exacerbate current problems, they also present great opportunities because they create momentum and positive benefits in others.

Solving complex problems together

Contrary to what many believe, big businesses contribute more to alleviating global poverty. <ul><li>They develop cheaper products for people at the bottom of the income pyramid - around four billion people. This is a huge potential market and the opportunity to make a profit while raising the standard of living for the poorest citizens.</li><li>Technophilanthropists have a global vision and business and political connections to get things moving forward, such as Bill Gates, founder of the Gates Foundation.</li></ul>

Access to education is a major global problem. Those students with access to education follow an outdated framework that does not provide students with the skills needed to handle the problems of the twenty-first century. ICT could offer a solution to address both issues of quality and delivery. For example, Sugata Mitra ran experiments on self-directed learning in Indian slums. He found that by just providing a computer terminal and internet access, groups of young children could teach themselves.

Traditional methods of education are outdated and in need of a re-think

A stigma is attached to failure, and many people will do anything to avoid it. This can prevent innovation.  Failure should be viewed as part of a longer learning curve and an important stepping stone toward innovation.

A successful future depends on overcoming the fear of failure

Nanotechnology allows us to create new materials leading to major advances in many areas. Nanotechnology involves building things on an atomic scale and create anocomposites, even tiny programmable assemblers, called nanomachines. These nanomachines can build other nanomaterials and create greater efficiency in the technology. Examples include nanocomposites much stronger than steel produced at a fraction of the cost. Lifesaver is a water filter that can make water safe to drink without chemical or energy-intensive methods.

Access to biotechnology is multiplying the potential to find innovative solutions to food, energy and other global problems. <ul><li>Advances in genetic engineering provide solutions that can feed an ever-increasing population. </li><li>Biotechnology is also used for other applications such as developing strains of algae as a biofuel source.</li></ul>

The internet and social media spread has helped people share and discuss societal problems and provide tools to find solutions.  Access to information is a significant catalyst in this process, for example, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Global connectivity is accelerating the sharing of information

<ul><li>Advances in solar energy technology can further innovation and lower production prices. New Energy Technologies has recently found a way to turn an ordinary window into a solar panel by using the world’s smallest organic solar cell that performs ten times better than current commercial models.</li><li>More efficient methods of growing food, like urban farming, hydroponics and vertical farming, can reduce the need for arable land.</li></ul>

Other advances that point to an abundance

<ul><li>It has been more than 50 years since astronomers first proposed "dark matter", which is thought to be the most common form of matter in the universe.</li><li>Despite this, we have no idea what it is - nobody has directly seen it or produced it in the lab.</li><li>Nevertheless, physicists today overwhelmingly favour the dark matter hypothesis incorporated in the so-called ΛCDM model (Lambda Cold Dark Matter).</li></ul>

In the case of two competing hypotheses, what determines the final probability of each hypothesis is the product of the ratio between the initial probabilities of the two hypotheses (before evidence) and the ratio of the probabilities that the evidence appears in each case (called the likelihood ratio).Determining what exactly counts as the "initial probability" of a hypothesis, and the possible ways in which such probabilities can be determined, remains one of the most difficult challenges in Bayesian confirmation theory.

Newtonian laws may work slightly differently when there’s extremely small acceleration involved, such as at the edge of galaxies. This tweak was perfectly compatible with the observed galactic rotation. More research in philosophy of science will give us a better verdict.

Her Majesty has more to offer in terms of life advice than any self-appointed wellbeing guru on social media.When I was in rehab, way back when, I heard a piece of advice that has stayed with me ever since. It came from a counsellor, during a session about staying sober in the real world.It focused on dealing with stressful events or people that would usually be a trigger to drink or take drugs. His advice? “Just smile and wave,” he said, himself smiling and waving.

Smiling and waving has got me through all sorts of situations since – tantrumming children, broken boilers, dead guinea pigs, plummeting oestrogen, et cetera, et cetera. It is the piece of mental-health advice I go to above all others, the thing that keeps me sane when all else is failing. But it is only recently that I have realised who is really responsible for this priceless piece of guidance. Not that counsellor, as dear as he is to me. Not a self-help guru or psychological expert. No. It’s the Queen.

The Queen is… well, the queen of smiling and waving, isn’t she? I realised this as I watched her at her Platinum Jubilee, standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, despite the obvious discomfort of her 96 years. There is a tendency among younger generations – and I include myself in this – to see the Royal family as symbols of the repressed stiff upper lip that has been such a barrier to good mental health in this country.

But my mind changed as I watched The Unseen Queen, the incredible BBC documentary narrated by the monarch herself, featuring previously private home footage of Her Majesty as a child and young mother. As I watched her skip through the fields of Balmoral and gulp back a cup of tea almost as big as her 10-year-old head, I realised that the Queen isn’t buttoned up. She’s just – in the parlance of Instagram influencers everywhere – boundaried.

I’ve watched it several times now and, on each occasion, I am struck by a sort of lightning bolt of spiritual enlightenment: the Queen has more to offer us in terms of life advice than any of the self-appointed wellbeing gurus who now litter social media and popular culture. It’s all there in this 76-minute documentary, a veritable treasure trove of guidance for those feeling slightly adrift.

A Spiritual Enlightment

Here she is on raising children: “As with any team, there is strength in combination”; and here she is on the importance of inclusivity, way back in 1947 during her first visit to South Africa, long before any of us understood the concept of “woke”: “We share the same world, but we do not share the same opportunities. A tolerant society actively develops the people that belong to it, and enriches their lives because it values their diversity.”

Here is a woman who could have got lost in glitz and glamour, but who instead shares the qualities of all great spiritual leaders, from the Dalai Lama to the Pope: she knows that no one person is better than any other and that she is but a vessel for something far bigger than herself. “We are all visitors to this time, this place,” she says at one point during the film. “We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love. And then we return home.”

The Queen talks of faith in the future and the need to remove fear and in just a few simple words she passes on a message that spiritual teachers such as Eckhart Tolle and Deepak Chopra have dedicated their entire lives to spreading. “I have lived long enough to know that things never remain quite the same for very long.” Queen-speak, that is, for the most Instagrammable quote of all: This too shall pass. I was touched by her sentiments on doing service for others – another concept that is crucial in the treatment of addicts.

Faith In The Future

“We sometimes think the world’s problems are so big that we can do little to help,” she said. "On our own, we cannot end wars or wipe out injustice. The cumulative impact of thousands of small acts of goodness can be bigger than we imagine.”And when she talks of her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, she may as well be summing up the key to life: “His sense of service, intellectual curiosity and capacity to squeeze the fun out of any situation were all irrepressible.” I had not thought of the Queen as a mental-health icon before, but now I cannot stop. Long may she smile and wave over us.

I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your home. Or party. Your grocery list. The food you make. How your writing looks. And the way you feel. Life is art.

You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we're not. We always have the power of our minds. Claim and consciously use your power.

The sad truth is that man's real life consists of a complex of inexorable opposites - day and night, birth and death, happiness and misery, good and evil. We are not even sure that one will prevail against the other, that good will overcome evil, or joy defeat pain. Life is a battleground. It always has been and always will be; and if it were not so, existence would come to an end.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

All these stashes emphasizes alot about meaning of life; in life, there's no room for doubt if you have any rather read the golden words left by the great poets and warrior to understand the actual meaming of life.

Knowing how competent and skilled we are against other people helps us figure out when we can go ahead with our decisions or when we instead need to look for advice.  But psychological research suggests that we frequently overestimate our own abilities. This is known as the Dunning-Kruger effect. It explains why over 100 studies reveal that people show illusory superiority.

Knowing how your skills measure up

On average, people tend to rate themselves better than most in disciplines ranging from health, leadership skills, ethics and more. Those with the least ability often overrate their skills to the greatest extent.  People who are measurably poor at logical reasoning, grammar, financial knowledge, math and emotional intelligence tend to rate their expertise almost as favourably as actual experts do.

We judge ourselves as better than others

People lacking knowledge and skill in certain areas suffer a double curse.  <ol><li>They make mistakes and reach poor decisions</li><li>Those same knowledge gaps prevent them from noticing their errors. </li></ol>In other words, poor performers won't notice how bad they are doing. For example,  a study showed that 25% of teams in a college debate tournament lost nearly four out of every five matches, but thought they were winning almost 60%.

People lacking knowledge suffer a double curse

The Dunning-Kruger effect isn't about an ego blinding us to our weaknesses. Once people can spot their deficits, they usually will admit to them. That is why people with moderate experience often have less confidence in their abilities. They know there's a lot they don't know. Experts tend to make a different mistake. They tend to be aware of their knowledge and assume everyone else is knowledgeable too. As a result, they don't see how unusual their abilities are.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is invisible to those experiencing it

<ol><li>Ask for feedback from other people and consider it, even if you find it hard to hear.</li><li>Keep learning. The more knowledgeable we become the more we will know how competent we are.</li></ol>

There’s no way you’d want to prove the existence of "dancing cakes" without an example from the world of cake.Likewise, when you want to prove the existence of God, of course you need initial information that allows for the existence of God.If you want to find out the possibility of someone doing "ianyiss&=lv’/!kg", then try to find out whether there is an example or not? It is always necessary to have a realistic comparison model!If you deny that there is no Creator - God, even though your own reasoning admits that for “a product” there needs to be a maker. Then they (atheists) argued "yes, it’s clear someone made this stuff, but we didn’t know who made this planet". THIS IS WHAT I CALL THEM ATHEISTS DELUSION. THEIR MODEL IS NOT REALISTIC.They reject something with unclear comparisons, while realistic models (miniature reasoning) show that something has a maker.

Unequal Comparison

Someone asked "can we draw something unique that is unthinkable"? Of course it’s impossible. Even if it was possible, it would have been thought of by the others and then shared with the questionerSo it is not something that is unthinkable, but, it has not been thought of, it's already exists but has not yet reached our minds. We cannot possibly think of something that is absolutely beyond thought.

Weirdo

It’s like someone trying to think of a form of impossibility. Whereas there has never been an example or there is no trace of a piece called impossibility. Even if you say "something is impossible", that is the opposite of the possible reality (there is a reality involved here).<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Or we pull it away from reality. “Can you imagine nothingness without being aware of something?” Nope!</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Again ... , statements like this ... "can you eat " ..... " to "...."? Confused aren’t you! You must have guessed the probability through your experience to be "can you eat " what you can eat " until "full up blah blah?</li></ul>
