The idea of treating myself like I care is important because for a long time I didn't. My life really wasn't bad but I still acted like I didn't care. When I hit hard times the people I thought would never leave left and soon it was just me and the man in the mirror. It's been a long tiresome journey to just get back to where I am now. If I would have treated myself like I cared I would have been better prepared for the time when no one could be found. If I would have treated myself like I cared in the beginning I may have never lost it all. I may not have lost anything.

These heuristics can be leveraged by brands and marketers to achieve their objectives, whether that is for the benefit of the environment or selling goods and services.
